All the characters are in the imagination
of the children and are performed by the other inmates and staff of
the institution.

| The performance space had an overhead gantry to maximise vertical space and create an environment that the audience were enveloped in the experience. | ![]() |
The white tiled walls allowed the children to suggest
the scenes by drawing indicative sketches on the
walls and floor |

I wanted to create an exciting
space and experience for the audience (mainly children) I didnt think
that a menatl assylum would be too difficult for them to grasp.

The glow from the outside world reminds the audience
and the children of the hope of escape
